Our Plans
Alpha and Omega Agritech Business School witll be a high school with a difference. Our three areas of focus will be agriculture, business and technology, in which fields we will emphasize the practical application of skills learned. At the same time, we will also offer theological studies to establish the spiritual well-being of our students. The school would be the first of its kind in Mpumalanga and one of a few in South Africa. Our goal is to guide learners in using technology to farm and to empower them with business skills in order to become successful entrepreneurs.
Needs of the Community
Our community is in need of another High School in the area. Given the rapid growth of our town with its budget constraints, a new high school is not in the Municipality's budget.
Many of our learners are forced to revert to Zulu speaking schools after receiving their tuition at an English speaking primary school. This poses a challenge in the later stages of life where they are expected to live and communicate in a global community.
In line with the mission and vision of our school, we plan to close this gap by establishing our our agricultural high school. We recently purchased 30 hectares of vacant land for the development of the school campus and we have obtained a lease for an additional 114 hectares of agricultural land.
Having secured a substantial amount of land, we have overcome our major hurdle. We are now in the process of raising funds for the development of the project.

As a registered Non-Profit Organisation and Public Benefit Organisation, Alpha and Omega School enjoys a section 18a tax exemption status with SARS. Donations can be claimed against corporate and personal tax returns.
